Streets of Rage 2 (360) (Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection) The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning (PS2) In 2nd one he's just complete dumbass.īy the way game ended garbage way. There were some things which made Kratos a bit relatable in 1st game. Visually games weren't that great even for it's time, but few environments had cool design. Expected something more original, not another 12 hours of same thing. Again all game is search for "item" or whatever to defeat it aka 1st game's plot, but this time without learning about Your own protagonist. Story was even bigger meh which reminded these super hero movies which go easy route by simply introducing new villain. Even more timed trap sections and final boss is a joke with final part of it being QTE with unskippable cutscene which I saw at least 5 times. Gameplay was fun though.Ģnd GoW was without a doubt worse and overall disappointing. Samus especially needs to go back to being the strong silent type. In terms of the story and dialog it's like they tried to turn them into japanese anime characters and it just doesn't work. Or I guess I should say third person/first person hybrid. I ended up using the wiimote/nunchuk controls and being able to point exactly where I wanted to throw them was just the perfect way to play.ġ1-29 Metroid: Other M (Wii) - An interesting 2D/3D hybrid metroid game. Surprisingly short and easy though (compared to Pikmin 2). It's good, but I played Everblue 2 first and this just doesn't hold a candle to it.ġ1-24 Pikmin 3 (Wii U) - I enjoyed it. It focuses on Yukimura, but eventually you unlock everybody you usually get in these games.ġ1-18 Everblue (PS2) - A diving RPG. But then I really like first person dungeon crawlers in general.ġ1-17 Samurai Warriors: Spirit of the Sanada (PS4) - Basically an expansion of the amazing Samurai Warrors 4, sort of like the "Empires" games are for Dynasty Warriors. What's a fixed physical attack? It's not mentioned anywhere else in the game (turns out it's a status ailment attack). One spell protects you from a "single fixed physical attack". Many of the item and spell descriptions just make no sense. So is it better to have a negative or positive "miss chance"? Who knows. Your characters have a "miss chance" and an "avoid chance" which can be positive or negative. The translation is atrocious though, and it really hurts it. The other two DLC were fine, nothing special though.ġ1-12 Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy (Vita) - Apparently this is a port of an old first-person dungeon crawler so I guess it can be forgiven for having some questionable design mechanics. I didn't do the whole "take over the commonwealth as a raider" thing. It made me really nostalgic for the old Disney and Epcot parks. I put 64 hours into it and if I didn't have so many other games to play, I could see myself putting in 64 more, just exploring and doing the randomly generated quests and settlement building.ġ1-11 Fallout 4 Far Harbor, Automatron, and Nuka-World - I really liked Nuka-World just because of the aesethic. I found the main story unsatisfying, but just exploring and interacting with the world was amazing. I didn't encounter any of the janky bugs that people complained about (probably because they've all been patched out by now).
